Welcome to our Family Album!

I imagine that you have a load of questions about all of this and I will answer them all here. What's cool about this is that YOU can upload your own photos, COMMENT about photos and even rate the photos in stars. Below I made some tutorials for you on how to learn how to upload your own photos, comment, rate, and so much more. Merry Christmas and I hope you enjoy :)


First off, here are somethings you need to know:
- NO ONE outside of our family/friends can view this website, don't worry. Only registered users can log in/view the pictures and to be a registered member you must be approved by me. Therefore there will be no stray's peaking in on our family album.

- I know that most of you use photobucket, kodak, or imageshack to share images and I won't be offended if you don't upload your photos here. This is meant to be a present for you to search around and see how everyone else is doing. I will be uploading photos from family events and such and I thought it would be nice if you could upload your own photos as well :)

- While the website works in FireFox and other browsers, I hightly recommend that you use Internet Explorer as your browser.

- When uploading photos onto the website only upload the good ones. I do have 50 gigs of space, but I don't want to waste it all, so make sure that they are good.

- I DON'T have to approve your pictures, so they will appear automatically. I will though place them in the correct category. There is a category titled "Temporary Upload Storage" where your album will go until I place it in the correct album. For instance: If you upload photos for a birthday you can upload them in your own album but it will be displayed in the "Temporary Upload Storage" category until I move it into the "birthdays" category. There is a tutorial for this below called "create an album".

NOTE: You can not upload files with out making your own albums first, if you get a "there is no albums where you are aloud to upload files" page, this is the reason why. Read this tutorial to learn how to create an album where you are aloud to upload to.

- How do I change my password/user info?
This tutorial shows you how to change your user info and password!


Questions you may have...

- How do I view a picture?
Easy! Just click on the picture! Most pictures get even bigger if you click on them again!

- How do I find my a certain event?
All of the events are categorized. If it was a birthday it will be under birthday, and so fourth. If it isn't listed I might not have it. You can upload your pictures as well!

- How do I login?
Use the information that I emailed you and enter into the login screen. If it isn't correct email me and let me know and I will fix it. You can also register your own customized username (instead of your first name), but I have to approve you first so it will not work right away.
