Sawyer: The boat blew up and the chopper was probably in it. Locke: They're not dead, James. Sawyer: Says who? Locke: That doesn't matter. All that matters is they got to come back. Juliet: Are you alright? Sawyer: I saw Kate Juliet: What? Sawyer: Last night. In the jungle. Before the last flash. She was delivering Claire's baby. Juliet: That was 2 months ago. Sawyer: Time travel's a bitch.

Juliet: We didn't get a chance to finish our conversation Sawyer: What conversation was that? Juliet: The one before they started shooting us. You were about to tell me how it felt to see Kate again. Sawyer: I wasn't about to tell you anything. Juliet: Why don't you tell me now? Sawyer: I was close enough to touch her. If I'd wanted to I could have stood right up and talked to her. Sawyer: Any luck? Jin: We finished grid 133 today. No sign of our people. No one. Sawyer: Well, 1-3-4 then. Jin: How long do we look, James? Sawyer: As long as it takes.

Sawyer: Why you're too busy drinking and blowing up trees to see him be born? Horace: I was, uh... I was looking for a pair of socks, and all of mine were dirty, so I went to grab a pair of Amy's, and I found this... in the back of her drawer. It was Paul's. Sawyer: You got in a fight over a necklace? Horace: I know. But...It's only been three years, Jim. Just three years that he's been gone. Is that really long enough to get over someone? Hurley: 'Cause they're together.

Hurley: "Together". They live together. Like, not as roommates. You know, "together" like you guys were. I thought it was kind of obvious. I mean, who couldn't see that comin'?
Jack: Hurley.
Hurley: Well, I guess I better go make some more waffles.

Juliet: Jack told you about us...
Kate: No. Hurley, actually.
Juliet: It's kind of a relief, actually. I wasn't quite sure how to do it without it sounding like I was telling you to stay away.
Kate: It's fine.

Sawyer: Hey.
Kate: Hi.
Sawyer: Why'd you come back?
Kate: What?
Sawyer: Sayid just filled my ear full of some crap about his damn purpose, and I wanna know... Why'd y'all come back?
Kate: Uh...

Kate: I don't know why everyone else came back. I just know why I did.

Cassidy: Sawyer. So that son of a bitch is still alive?
Kate: He was when I left.
Cassidy: And he asked you to come here and give me an envelope full of money?
Kate: Well, he... he told me where to find you, and said to take care of Clementine... his daughter?
Cassidy: Well, she's asleep in her crib right now. Want me to wake her up?
Kate: I, uh, shouldn't have bothered you. I could've sent it, and I probably should have.
Cassidy: Why did you tell me all this? Why'd you trust me?
Kate: Because I thought your daughter had a right to know that her father cared.
Cassidy: Why didn't he come back with the rest of you?
Kate: The helicopter that we were on was running out of gas, so he jumped so that we could make it to the boat.
Cassidy: What a coward.
Kate: He was trying to do the right thing.
Cassidy: He was trying to get away from you. I told him he had a daughter. He never so much as lifted a finger to try to call her. So now I'm supposed to think he's a hero because he told you to come here and help us? Hell, I bet this money's not even his, is it?
Kate: They gave us a settlement after the crash, and I didn't need it all--
Cassidy: You don't have to explain it, Kate. You got the same look on your face I did when he ditched me. All I have for you is sympathy. Is it his?

Kate: what happened?

Kate: That was Ben. That kid who was shot was Ben. Was it Sayid? Did he shoot him?
Sawyer: Here's what you need to do, Kate: keep your mouth shut and stop asking questions. 'Cause putting any attention on yourself is the last thing I need right now. Now scram. I don't want you around here.
Kate: I just wanna know what's going on.
Horace: Lafleur. What... what, uh... What's she doing here?
Sawyer: This is, uh...

Sawyer: Kate. She's new over at the motor pool. I was seeing if she saw anything suspicious, but she didn't, so... you can run along, thanks.

Kate: I know you gotta stop me... but I can't just let that kid die.
Sawyer: Damn it, Freckles. I ain't here to stop you. I'm here to help you.

Kate: I lost him.
Cassidy: What?
Kate: I don't know what happened. We were in the supermarket, and I turned around for one second, he was gone. And,you know,the crazy thing is, is that as scared as I was, I wasn't surprised. All I could think was,it's about time. Why would I feel that way? I mean,why would I expect him to be taken?
Cassidy: Because you took him, Kate.
Kate: No,I...claire was gone. I mean,she left him. I had to take him. He needed me.
Cassidy: You needed him. Sawyer broke your heart. How else were you supposed to fix it?

Kate: Why are you doing this?Why are you helping me?
Sawyer: when I found out ben was gone,and Juliet told me what you were up to, I asked that exact damn question. Why are you helping Ben? And she said "no matter what he's gonna grow up to be,it's wrong to let a kid die." So that's why I'm doing this. I'm doing it for her.

Kate: You know, his father said that you think Ben broke Sayid out.
Sawyer: Kid'll do almost anything if he's pissed off enough at his folks.
Kate: Is that why you asked me to take care of your daughter?
Sawyer: Did you?
Kate: Of course I did. Go ahead and tip his ad back.
Sawyer: What's she like?
Kate: clementine?
Sawyer: Yeah. Clementine.
Kate: Oh,she's beautiful. Looks just like you wh she smiles. She's growing up fast. Already has a little attitude.
Sawyer: I bet you and cassidy had a lot to talk about.
Kate: She had an interesting theory on why you jumped off the chopper.
Sawyer: Yeah? What's that?
Kate: She thought you were worried about what would happen if you didn't.
Sawyer: You and me would've never worked out, Kate. I wasn't any more fit to be your boyfriend than I am to be that little girl's father.
Kate: You seem to be doing all right with Juliet.
Sawyer: Yeah. I've done a lot of growing up the past three years.

Kate: I had to protect him,so I said he was mine.
Carole: Why did you lie? Why didn't you come to me in the first place?
Kate: Because I needed him.

Sawyer: All right, I want you to go back and and find Juliet, see if anyone's noticed yet if little Ben's gone missin'.
Kate: What are you gonna do when they find out?
Sawyer: Do my best to cover it up. In case you haven't noticed, I'm the head of security. All right, I'll see you back there.

Kate: We have to get out of here.
Sawyer: "Out of here"? We're underwater. What the hell are you doing here? How'd you get caught?
Kate: I came back to get you.
Sawyer: Came back to get me for what?
Juliet: where's Jack?
Kate: Jack is on his way to blow up a hydrogen bomb.
Sawyer: Why the hell would he do that?
Kate: Does it matter? We have to stop him.
Sawyer: Sorry, I'm gonna pass.
Kate: Did you hear what I just said?
Sawyer: Yeah, I heard you. You just don't get it, Kate. We we happy in Dharmaville till y'all showed up. But now that's all over. So we're gonna drink our oj. And take our chancesin the real world. If Jack wants to blow up the island, good for Jack.

Sawyer: Let me get this straight. Jack sets off a nuke, which means somehow resets everything. So flight 815 never crashes. It just lands in L.A. safe and sound, and none of this never happens.
Kate: Sawyer, if Jack does this, he could kill everyone on the island.
Sawyer: Yeah, I heard that part.
Kate: And you're okay with that?
Sawyer: You ain't hearing me, Kate. I made a choice, and I'm sticking to it. I decided to leave, and I'm leavin'.
Dharma guy: All right, here's your sedatives.
Juliet knocks him out.
Sawyer: What the hell did you just do?
Juliet: We decided to leave this island, James. We did. And now we're going back.
Sawyer: We can't just let those people die. You want out? You wanna stay here and whine about it?
Sawyer: Unlock the damn cuffs.

Sawyer: From the looks of the sun, I'd say that's the north shore over there.
Kate: Sun's over there. That's gotta be the west coast.
Sawyer: Really? What, you got a compass?
Kate: No. Do you?

Kate: Jack has a bomb.
Rose: Who cares?
Kate: Excuse me?
Rose: It's always something with you people. Now you say "Jack's got a bomb". And what, you guys are all gonna try to stop him, right?
Kate: Yeah, that's right.
Rose: We traveled back 30 years in time, and you're still trying to find ways to shoot each other?
Juliet: Rose, we just need to know Which way the dharma barracks are from here so we can stop Jack, Or you're gonna be dead. We all will.
Bernard: So we die. We just care about being together. That's all that matters in the end.
